In light of BMO Private Bank’s recent report on Canadian buying trends in Florida, Host Marci Ien interviewed Florida Attorney & Canadian Legal Advisor David Altro who specializes in cross border tax, estate planning and real estate. The interview focused on what Canadian viewers need to know before buying in the U.S. so that they can minimize or eliminate probate and avoid double taxation. David also illustrated the differences between owning U.S. property as vacation property or rental property.
