Zaina Kottis is a trusts, estates, wealth management and incapacity planning lawyer. She works closely with both domestic and cross-border clients to create personalized estate plans catered to each clients’ specific needs. Zaina advises estate and trust executors and trustees on both sides of the border in all aspects of estate and trust management and administration, including obtaining grants of probate in Ontario and the U.S. Zaina’s practice also includes real-estate transfers in and out of trusts, from estates to beneficiaries, as well as residential purchases and sales.
Zaina obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Criminology and Justice from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2010 and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Windsor in 2013. Zaina was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2015. Zaina is an Affiliate member with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is currently working on obtaining her Trust and Estate Practitioner designation.
When not practicing law, Zaina enjoys reading and spending time with family.
