Julian Franch is a member of the Ontario Bar and is an Altro LLP Associate. Prior to joining Altro LLP, Julian gained valuable experience in corporate/commercial transactions, tax planning, and tax dispute resolution as a corporate and tax associate with a boutique business law firm in Toronto. Julian also has varied work experience as a research assistant with the Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre in Windsor and as a business development specialist for a financial service company in Toronto. Julian is currently completing his first year of the three-year CPA In-Depth Tax Course.
Julian graduated from the University of Windsor, where he obtained his M.B.A. and J.D. degrees. While at Windsor, Julian received the Don Riley Award for academic, community, and leadership merit, as well as the First Overall Legal Presentation Award at the UWill Discover Conference. Julian completed the Bloomberg Essentials Certifications in core, fixed income, equity, commodity, and foreign exchange matters, before going on to teach other students as the Odette Financial Markets Lab graduate assistant. Julian obtained his undergraduate degree in psychology from King’s University College at Western University, where he received the Principal’s Regis Scholarship for top academic average.
